Trey Songz Heads Out On College Tour

R&B singer, Trey Songz, has signed on to perform on the Cingular Wireless Historic Black Colleges and Universities "Back to School" tour, in wake of hisdebut album, I Gotta Make It.

The 22-campus tour kicked off at Grambling State University in Grambling , Louisiana , and will travel throughout the country, ending on September 24 in Winston-Salem , North Carolina . Students at each university will have the exclusive opportunity to attend Trey's concerts for free.

The tour's announcement follows his impressive debut on the Billboard 200 at #20, selling more than 40,000 units, and entering #20, selling more than 40,000 units.

In addition to impressive debut sales, Trey Songz made a special in-store appearance at his local Circuit City in Colonial Heights , Virginia , where he made history by selling more units than any previous in-store event held at the store.

The young singer is quickly being known for his tremendous singing ability and has received acclaim from critics, industry insiders, and fellow musicians alike.
